We are Hiring!
We are looking for an assistant boys basketball coach for the upcoming season. Practices begin October 9th. The qualified candidate should have previous coaching experience and be able to be at practices and all games, including riding the bus to away games. Ambush basketball will be holding a skills camp at Paw Paw school in September and October.
This camp is open to students from all schools.
Paw Paw Area Fall Skills and 3 on 3 King of the court day September 15, 22, 29 & October 6, 13, 20.
Times and Grades:
1:00-2:15 3rd-5th grade boys and girls
2:15-3:30 6th-7th grade boys and girls
3:30-4:45 8th-12 grade boys and girls
Cost: $100

Excessive Heat Warning Update!
Parents: Due to our current weather forecast, today's soccer game will be postponed. There will be no soccer practice today or tomorrow. We will keep you posted as to a reschedule date as soon as possible.

**Fall Sports Reminder**
5th-8th Grade Parent/Students
There is a mandatory parent/player meeting on August 12 at 4:45 in the main gym. All parents/players are required to attend.
All players need to register for soccer and volleyball using the online athletic registration forms located in your PowerSchool Parent Portal. This is in the same location as your student registration forms that you filled out for school registration.
Optional Soccer practice runs from August 5-August 9 from 5:00-6:30.
Volleyball & Soccer practice officially begins on August 12.
Volleyball will practice from 3:00-5:00 (5th-8th graders).
Soccer will practice from 4:15-5:45 (5th-8th graders).
There is a mother/daughter volleyball match on August 11 from 5:00-7:00 (girls bring a purple shirt).
Athletic physicals need to be up to date and turned in to the school office no later than August 16th or student will not be able to participate.
We will be using Team Reach this year for all sporting events communications. Please check your email for an invite to our Team Reach groups.

POSITION AVAILABLE:
Director for the Paw Paw Boys and Girls Club Before and After School Program
There is a position available for Director of the Before and After School Program through the Paw Paw Boys and Girls Club. The program is for children in grades Kindergarten-8th for the 24/25 school year. The position is open immediately.
Paw Paw Boys and Girls Club is a non-profit organization. Our program is located within Paw Paw School District 271. Hours are 6:30-8:00 a.m. and 3- 5:30 p.m. each day. We follow the District 271 school calendar.
The Director develops the structure and implementation of the program, daily schedule, lessons, arts, snacks/nutrition, physical activities, as well as managing the monthly fees/tuition for attendance to the program. Daily clean up and upkeep of materials is a requirement as well. The Director is also responsible for marketing and growing the program.
Education and/or experience in a similar program is welcomed. Strong classroom management skills are a must.
