First Day of School/Hours for In-Person Learning

Students first attendance day will be August 25, 2020.  School hours for the students will be 8:00 am - 1:45 pm.  Students will be allowed to enter the school building at 7:45 am.

New Drop Off Areas

The main drive in front of the school that was previously reserved for buses will now be used for parents to pull in and drop off students in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.  Please obey the one way signs and drive carefully.

Bus students will be dropped off/picked up in the back of the building.  Elementary students will enter/exit through the door at the end of their hallway (door #13).  Junior high students will be dropped off/picked up at the back parking lot by the playground area (door #5).

Students who walk will enter through the elementary main hallway (door #2).

Town Hall Meeting

We will be holding a Parent/Community Town Hall meeting on Thursday, August 20th.  We will be having these meetings on Zoom.

We have schedule two meetings for our different types of instruction:

Chromebook Pickup for Remote Students

Students who will be receiving remote learning instruction for the first semester will be able to pick up their school issued Chromebooks on Thursday, August 20th from 10am - 1:00 pm.  A copy of our acceptable use policy will be emailed to you along with the permission form.  Please bring your completed permission form to the school to exchange it for a school Chromebook.

Remote Students Requesting Lunches

Students that will be doing remote instruction can request to have lunches for the week.  Pick up for a full week of lunches will be on Mondays.  Each Wednesday, an email will be sent to parents for them to request lunches for the next week.  Students on the free/reduced program will receive the lunches at a free/reduced price.  Students at full pay will need to have money on their lunch accounts to pay for the lunches.

School Supply List

The school supply list for the elementary and junior high students has been updated.  I will attach it to this email and it will be posted on Facebook and the school website.

Please understand that junior high students will not have lockers this school year.  They will be able to carry items in bookbags and there will be a storage container in their designated classrooms to keep materials here at the school.  Students will not be able to share items with each other.

We will continue to update you on the start of the school year.  Thank you for your continued support and patience with this fluid and unprecedented time!
